Website Issues Resolved

Posted by Victoria DeMore at 10:18 AM on November 11, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Hello equine photography fans and my faithful companions,

I apologize for the inablity to access the website yesterday. Webs had a problem with constuction workers cutting a fiber optic cable. They and all the websites they host were down from about 10am ET yesterday to sometime this morning.

Couldn't have happened at a worse time. I was about to send out an email out to FL horse farms last night. But, with the website down I couldn't. Joy! Well I'll get to it today, then.

And a special thank you to all the veterans out there. We don't need a special day to remember and appreciate all you have done and have sacrificed for us. We appreciate you every day. To those soldiers still in service, stay safe and we're praying for you.

They are also up on my Redbubble site. Click here for my Wellington photos on Redbubble.

Wellington, FL Horse Show

Posted by Victoria DeMore at 07:35 PM on October 18, 2009 Comments comments (0)

This weekend, my boyfriend, Dustin, and I went down to Wellington. I haven't shot a horse show in a while and was excited to see that during this long weekend, we could catch at least some of the action.

To see the venue's website, click here. This past weekend's show was the ESP Fall II show. I was there during Saturday afternoon, and most the day Sunday.

It was a lot of fun. I love being around the horses and the feeling of competition. So many beautiful horses and ponies and some amazing riders. Pretty chilly, only because it's been 90 degrees here for so long. At first 50-70 degrees felt good, but the wind Sunday made it difficult. Jump 5 blew over a couple times, fortunately not when any horses were on course.

Exciting weekend. Will have some pictures up soon. Please check my Redbubble site first, as that is where I post first. Click here to see photos from this weekend. Keep checking back, will be uploading as I go through the images from this weekend.

First Update!

Posted by Victoria DeMore at 07:58 PM on October 09, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Hello everyone! Welcome to my new blog. It's not so much a blog as it is a means by which I will update you all on how the website is coming along, upcoming events I will be at, communications, news, press releases... basically whatever kind of news I need to get out.

I figured this would be better than to clutter up the homepage with updates, since some people might not want to see them every time they log into the website.

I will be working on the website off and on this weekend along with massive amounts of homework. It's midterms time again, and I've had 2 already, and 3 more exams early next week. I also have papers to work on.

I have been riding at least once a week and this Florida heat is a killer! So hot out!! I'm sure I'll get used to it, everyone must have to I guess. lol.

I hope you all have a great weekend. Email will go out soon, I promise.

If you'd like on the mailing list, please send me an email with your name and any contact information you'd like to include. If you have a farm, please let me know the name of it and where it's located. I like to keep tabs on my fans out there :-) Plus, some emails in the future will be area specific, so if I don't have at least what city you are in, I won't be able to possibly include you in those!
