Who better to capture the beauty of you and your horse than an equestrian?
Victoria DeMore is an accomplished equestrian with over 15 years experience working with horses: riding, showing and training. She has won numerous champion and reserve-champion ribbons in the hunter ring on a variety of horses. Standing only 5 feet tall, she has trained ponies for the hunter/jumper ring.
She started riding when she was only five years old and has always worked at the barns she has ridden at. She has mucked stalls, swept aisles, fed and watered horses, turnout, blanketing, grooming, tacking up, warming up, cooling out, etc... if it is a chore around the barn, chances are, she's done it. Even if she was riding in a show, she would work, too. Throughout middle school and high school, this was Victoria's life. She learned a lot and loved working with every horse or pony who came her way.
The photo is of Victoria and her horse from back home, Gentleman Joe, taken by Victoria's father, James. "Joe" is a 15hh bay Thoroughbred cross with a star and snip. Victoria and Joe have been champions and reserve champions at many hunter shows in Pennsylvania and Ohio. He is currently semi-retired living with family in Maryland while Victoria is in college.
Now a senior in college, Victoria needed a way to incorporate horses into her busy life. After a few years of attempting to take lessons and find a place to ride, she realized financially it just was not possible to ride and attend college classes at the same time. She always enjoyed photography and only recently thought seriously about turning it into a career. Her father, James, was a professional wedding photographer when he was younger and taught her a lot about photography. Her mother, Cynthia, also has a keen eye for photography and a flair for art and stained glass. Victoria has inherited the artistic visions of her parents and put them to use in her passion, horses. Let her show you the beauty in your horse.

Victoria DeMore is a senior at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She began her college journey in Aerospace Engineering but switched to Homeland Security when she realized her new field would help more people. She also is studying Professional Communications as a minor. She consistantly makes good grades and made Dean's List both semesters of the 2008-2009 school year. She hopes to work as an intelligence analyst for the government after graduating in May 2010.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Victoria makes a couple trips up north each year to visit her family and her boyfriend's family (Dustin, pictured above). She has been dating Dustin (also an ERAU student from Pittsburgh) for over three fantastic years. He is a great support for her and her photography. If you see her around a horse show or you book a photo shoot, chances are he'll be there lending a helping hand.
